AI Excellence Community
We have created the Artificiall Intelligence Excellence Community (AIEC) to further support students who excel in the research area of artificial intelligence and AI-based systems in business, administration and society.
The aim of the community is to support students individually, including through...
...additional qualifications relating to artificial intelligence,
...special options to research Deep-Learning Enterprises,
...know-how transfer through interaction with practice from the AI sector,
...opportunities to work with top companies in the AI-driven digital transformation sector.
The Concept of the Artificial Intelligence Excellence Community
These are the requirements:

at least one AI exercise (e.g. KIBAS by Prof. Dr.-Ing. M. Grum / any other SCIoI exercise)
one AI project (e.g. AuA-Projekt by Prof. Dr.-Ing. M. Grum / any other SCIoI project)
one academic or professional field-specific practical semester related to AI / AI internship (e.g. teaching assistance, laboratory internship, science communication, empirical research and case study, professional field-specific practical seminar / consulting seminar, science, communication or event management, IT administration)

The AIEC membership (incl. the duration of membership and milestones realized) is certificated, which demonstrates best AI knowledge in teaching and practice.
Each AIEC member is assigned an academic staff member as a mentor with a specialized AI focus, who advises on questions regarding studies, theses, requirements from science and practice.
You will be offered exciting additional qualifications such as the Science-of-Intelligence or hands-on introductions to the tools of an AI transformation.
Every AIEC member is invited to lectures and workshops by our cooperation partners from the field.
We arrange internships and theses in practice.
It is also possible to participate in practical projects in business informatics.
